Children's Ministry

Our Children's Ministry seeks to bring children into age-appropriate worship where they can belong to the family of God, grow in their relationship with Christ, learn to serve, and then go share Christ in the world! We strive to do this through our Awana program, kids’ small groups, summer camp, and Vacation Bible school.

Weekly Activities:

Children's Church, Sunday morning, 10:30 a.m.

Every Sunday Morning, children ages 4 years through 7 years are dismissed after the music portion of Worship to attend Children's church. Not only do they get a lesson that they can understand, but they get hands on making a craft that relates to the lesson.

Children's Choir, Sundays 5 p.m.

If your child likes music and loves to sing, this is their choir! The combined gentleness, talent and enthusiasm of ouryoung singers creates beautiful sounds that will charm everyone's soul.

Awana, Wednesdays 6:15-8:15 p.m.

AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from the Bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15, Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word.

Awana clubs teach the gospel of Christ to children from preschool through high school. Throughout the program, children are rewarded for memorizing Bible verses and completing character building activities. Younger children learn through games, crafts and puppets -- wonderful learning tools for this age. As they grow, children are introduced to small group interaction, community outreach, apologetics and life application of the gospel.

Other Seasonal Events:

Safe Street Carnival Monday October 31, 6:00 – 7:30 pm. 

Over 25 booths of games, safe family fun and hot dogs. For kids of all ages.

Kidz Praiz Choir Christmas Musical December 4, 2011 at 5:00 pm

Our Kidz Praiz Choir will share their Christmas musical, “Miracle on Main Street.”  Come join us as the children lead us on an adventure to find the true meaning of Christmas. Then following the musical join us in the fellowship hall for the post-musical fellowship.
