Awana Clubs
If your kids haven't been to the Awana Club at Pikes Peak Park Baptist Church, you'll find that, after their first visit, they'll want to come week after week! We offer games, handbook achievement and a Bible lesson that is relevant to today's children. There are clubs for children 3 years old through 12th grade.

Cubbies

Cubbies, a two-year program for pre-schoolers, meets at church garage facility every Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

  • Children are eligible to start Cubbies in September if they will be three by September 15 and are toilet trained.
  • Dress Cubbies appropriately for the weather as they frequently go outdoors.
  • All Cubbies must have an updated Registration and Medical Release on file.

Please accompany your child when dropping off or picking up from the program.

Sparks, T & T and the 24/7 Clubs
Clubs for children in kindergarten through 12th grade meet in the church garage facility from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays evenings.

Please accompany your younger children into or out of the designated spot in the building when dropping off or picking up from the program.

Awana Leaders

Ours is a staff of qualified leaders dedicated to running a club that is exciting, fun, and safe for your child. Awana leaders have trusted Christ as their Savior, are active in the church, and have been approved by the Pikes Peak Park Baptist Church leadership. They also have completed basic Awana leadership training. Our leaders will make a special effort to visit you and your child sometime during the club year; however, feel free to call your child's leader or club director with any questions or comments you may have.

What Are Your Costs?

The AWANA Club registration fee is $20 per child. These fees subsidize the Awana Club ministry and are used to pay for game equipment, awards, treats, and special events. Some of the activities organized outside of club may require a modest participation fee. The uniforms are $11 for the Cubbie and Sparky vests and $21 for the polo shirts the other clubs wear.

Parent Involvement

The Awana awards system is based on a series of achievements in handbooks which include Bible memory and activities. Your child's achievement can be enhanced with your involvement and encouragement. Help your child memorize the sections in his/her handbook--you can even memorize the verses at the same time! Non-reading clubbers especially need a parent's help in completing handbooks.Visitor parcipation is encouraged and rewarded. Bring children from your neighborhood.

Call Richard Longacre for more information on how you can be involved.
